Bookcity's aim is to be a dream city while keeping the interest of the public in mind. The city with a flourishing architecture based on sound ecological practices establishing a beautiful harmony between the publishing industry and the cultural role that books play in our lives.

Bookcity Culture Foundation was established in order to promote Bookcity. It is also an extension of the culture and arts center of Seoul, which blends nature with the city and the publishing arts.

Bookcity Culture Foundation will support all activities, including book fair, exchange and research of international publishing culture, writing and symposium, and also implements the functions of education, exhibition, public performances, etc. At the same time, the Foundation will endlessly try to show the Korean publishing culture and arts to the world
